ToolGuyd reports that Bosch’s GLM100-23 laser distance measurer is listed for $37.79 during Prime Day, below the roughly $40 promotional price its writer says is typical. The deal was reported as ending October 7, 2026; current availability and pricing have not been independently confirmed.
The Bosch GLM100-23 laser distance measurer was listed for $37.79 in a Prime Day deal reported by ToolGuyd, a price below the site writer’s usual benchmark of about $40. The report says the offer ends October 7, 2026; the price and stock status may change, and have not been independently verified here.
ToolGuyd’s writer calls the GLM100-23 a favorite and says they bought one for about $40 in November 2023 after Bosch could not provide a review sample quickly enough. The writer describes the current $37.79 offer as lower than any price they can recall seeing, including over several years. That comparison reflects the writer’s recollection, not a published price-history analysis.
The tool is specified as having a 100-foot measurement range and stated accuracy of ±1/16 inch. It runs on two AAA batteries. ToolGuyd highlights its straightforward operation and a separate button for changing measurement units, and says the battery setup avoids reliance on a charger or rechargeable lithium-ion batteries.
The report also notes a Prime Day offer on the Bosch GLM165-22 at $78.84 for shoppers seeking additional functions. ToolGuyd says that model also appears to be part of the offers ending October 7. A Lower Price on a Basic Laser Measure
At the reported price, the GLM100-23 may appeal to homeowners and tradespeople who need quick point-to-point measurements where a tape measure is awkward or cannot reach. Its stated 100-foot range gives it a different use from a basic tape, while its simpler feature set may suit buyers who do not need built-in calculations or other functions.
The reported discount is modest against the writer’s own benchmark: $37.79 is $2.21 below $40. That comparison helps put the deal in perspective. It is a small reduction from a price ToolGuyd says is common during promotional periods, rather than evidence of a dramatic or permanent price change. Buyers should check the live listing, shipping costs, and return terms before ordering.

How It Compares With Usual Promotions
ToolGuyd says the GLM100-23 has commonly been promoted at around $40 for a season-long sale, and the writer expects it may appear in holiday promotions as well. The report does not provide a full historical price chart, so the claim that $37.79 is unusually low is the author’s assessment based on their recollection.
The article contrasts Bosch’s model with lower-priced alternatives, including a discounted Hoto laser measure. ToolGuyd says the Hoto looks suitable for DIY use but questions whether it should be viewed as a serious tool or a household gadget; that is the writer’s opinion, not an independent test result. The writer says their preference for Bosch is based on experience with the brand’s laser measuring tools and describes the GLM100-23 as a reliable, no-frills option.
““$40 is a great price, $37.79 is a little bit better.””

Check the Listing Before Buying
Readers interested in the offer should check the retailer’s current listing for the GLM100-23 price, stock, and delivery details, since ToolGuyd says the promotion ends October 7. Shoppers who want added measurement functions can also compare the GLM165-22 listing, reported at $78.84, and confirm whether that price is still active.
ToolGuyd suggested that the GLM100-23 could be discounted again during the holiday season, but that is the writer’s expectation rather than a confirmed future offer. No later promotion or price has been announced in the source material.
