ToolGuyd reported that Home Depot’s Oct. 9 tool deals included a Milwaukee M12 Fuel bundle with a hammer drill, impact driver, 5Ah battery and 40-piece screwdriver bit set for $224. That matched the price of a smaller bundle with the tools and battery, though the sale was scheduled to end at 3 a.m. ET on Oct. 10 or sooner if supplies ran out.

Home Depot’s Oct. 9 tool deals included a Milwaukee M12 Fuel bundle with a hammer drill, impact driver, bonus 5Ah battery and 40-piece screwdriver bit set for $224, according to tool-deals site ToolGuyd. The listed price matched a smaller bundle with the tools and battery but no bit set, making the added accessory effectively included at no additional listed cost while the promotion lasted.

ToolGuyd described the offer as a change from earlier listings for a similar bundle. The report said the tools, battery and bit set had previously been listed together for $249, while the drill-and-driver kit with the same bit set could be bought for $239. That earlier pricing meant the bundled offer cost more than combining components separately, according to the report.

On Oct. 9, the larger bundle was listed at $224, the same price ToolGuyd cited for a version containing the M12 Fuel hammer drill and impact driver combo kit plus the XC 5Ah battery. The report characterized the 40-piece bit set as a $15 item. At the listed prices, the set did not add to the total compared with the bundle without it.

The deal roundup also mentioned other Home Depot offers, including Makita 18V cordless tools, Milwaukee outdoor power tools and a DeWalt Tesla EV charger. ToolGuyd said the listings were due to end at 3 a.m. ET on Oct. 10, unless supplies sold out earlier. The source disclosed that it might receive an affiliate commission from purchases made through its links.

The Bundle Price Now Includes Bits

For shoppers already considering the Milwaukee combo kit, the reported pricing makes the 40-piece screwdriver bit set an added item at no extra listed cost compared with the tools-and-battery bundle. That could make the larger package the more attractive choice, provided the products and prices remain available when shoppers check out.

The change also illustrates why comparing bundle contents and separate prices matters. A promotion label alone does not show whether a package costs less than its components bought individually. ToolGuyd’s account gives readers a specific comparison, but it reflects the listed prices in the report, not a guarantee that every store, online listing or checkout will show the same terms.

Earlier Milwaukee Bundle Pricing

ToolGuyd said it had criticized similar Home Depot listings in recent days because some bundles appeared to cost more than buying their contents separately. In the example cited, the drill-and-driver kit plus a bit set was reportedly available for $239, while the bundle containing the kit, battery and bit set was priced at $249.

The Oct. 9 listing differed because the bundle with the bit set was reported at the same $224 price as the option with the tools and battery alone. ToolGuyd wondered whether its earlier criticism had influenced the revised price, but presented that as speculation and acknowledged that the change could be coincidental. The source also noted another bundle with a bit set it valued at $40, priced $18 above a version without that set.

““Today, the price of the larger bundle, with tools, extra battery, and bit set, is the same as for the tool set plus battery. $224.””

Price Changes and Stock Remain Unverified

The supplied report does not establish why Home Depot changed the bundle price, or whether ToolGuyd’s earlier posts had any effect. The site raised that possibility but explicitly allowed that the timing could be coincidental. The source material also does not confirm current inventory, whether all shoppers could access the same listing, or whether the price remained available through the stated deadline.

Prices and product configurations can change, and the report does not provide a guarantee that the bundle will appear at $224 at checkout. Readers should verify the current listing, included components, shipping or pickup terms and availability before ordering.

Check the Listing Before Purchase

The reported promotion was scheduled to end at 3 a.m. Eastern time on Oct. 10, 2026, with an earlier end possible if supplies sold out. Shoppers interested in the bundle would need to confirm the price and contents directly in Home Depot’s current listing; the supplied report does not say whether the offer was extended or what price followed the sale.

ToolGuyd also encouraged readers to browse the other daily tool deals. Its roundup does not provide enough detail to verify the availability or final pricing of every other offer mentioned.
